Pianist Rachel Eckroth performed two sets at Modified Arts, making her first solo appearance since her recent return to Phoenix. Eckroth performed music from her newest album "Mind" on the first set, accompanied by Ted Sistrunk on bass and Rob Moore on drums. The second set featured a new piece by Eckroth written especially for this performance entitled the "Coney Island Suite." The suite featured Eckroth on piano, accordian, and vocals with Sistrunk on bass and Rob Moore on drums, loops, and percussion.
