Valley hip-hop faves Antedote opened the concert with their organic blends of jazz, hip-hop, and experimental drum'n'bass. Antedote the Neato Project has been "pounding tough issues over hard-hitting and soothing rhythms" since their forming in 2003. Antedote is Mesi Goodness (words and labtop), Siddha (bass, keys, and vox), Griff (guitars and keys), Wicket (drums and vox), and E.B. Magic (percussion and rarities).

Wicked Children followed with an exploration of the music of Radiohead. After hearing Brad Mehldau's interpretations of Radiohead's music, Adam Roberts was inspired to create his own arrangements of the music for large jazz ensemble. Wicked Children is Leon Santiago (vocals), Chris Benavidez (high reeds), Adam Roberts (arrangements and middle reeds), Paul Brewer (low reeds), Coby Boyce (trumpets), Scott Pearson (guitars), Brock Walters (keyboards), Jeff Naylor (bass), and Gannon Burleigh (drums).
